The sandblasting to remove the pool paint coating has been completed. They are now doing the tedious work to remove the white vinyl piece (located above and below the tile) that was partially cracked. Another crew will be next in line to prep and apply the bonding coat.

The pool project kicked off today and great progress is already being made!

The last day to use the pool this season will be Sunday, September 18. Hope you all take advantage of 37 more days of swimming. 🏊‍♀️☀️

On September 19, we start the pool project. Lots of noise and lots of mess so please be patient while they work hard to make great improvements.

Due to the JCDH and the State of Alabama mandates, we will not be able to open the pool at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Happy summer! We hope you are enjoying the pool and all the games around the deck. As we start this pool season, we want to remind you of a few important things:

Guest policy: the holder of the membership (normally, the parents) may have up to six guests (per membership, not per person). Kids 13 and older may bring one guest for free and a second guest for $5. Please note that guests of kids are included in the total number of guests allowed per membership (6).

Pool safety: Parents of teens we really need your help with this one. Please remind your kids (and their guests) not to hang on the basketball rim or hang on to the iron fence and jump from the ledge near the fountain.

The pool is open! If you have paid your dues for this year, your cards are active. If not, take a minute to dig out your invoice and send a check. :)

Invoices were sent out last week. If you haven't received yours, please send an email to [email protected]. :) If you are interested in joining as a non-resident member, you can email us or you can download the application which is posted in the group section.

Don't forget about our family party on August 25, from 6 until 10 pm. We will have live music for everyone to enjoy and you can try out the new games we added this year. Hotdogs will be available starting at 6:30, until they are gone. Please bring your family, a snack to share, and your own drinks/cooler. 😎😀

Update: the pool is open Again. Earlier today the pool itemporarily closed when one of our younger members had an accident in the pool and we need to "shock" the pool. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The new horseshoe pit has been installed and is already in use. All of the items needed for our games can be checked out (for free) from the monitor. If you are there at night, the monitor also has citronella candles to keep any pesky mosquitoes away. 😎
