Every parent wants to know their child can walk with confidence.
Our program helps children learn how to defend themselves, stay composed in difficult situations, and develop confidence that carries into school, friendships, and everyday life.
But what surprises many families most is this:
It becomes quality time together.
Instead of everyone going separate directions, families train, grow, and accomplish goals side by side.
Strong kids.
Stronger families.
Real confidence that lasts.
Message us to schedule a free trial class. elitemmakingwood

Our student highlight of the day is Chris Mendoza. Chris’s mom and dad came to Elite MMA in March of 2025.
They originally came in for boxing. They were not familiar with the benefits of martial arts. They shared that Chris was struggling with his grades, attitude towards his parents, and the friends he was hanging out with. They trusted us to develop his martial arts training and most importantly developing him as a martial artist. Fast forward to now.He is making all A’s, has a respectful relationship with his family. He is also a leader for other youth students both on and off the mat.
Chris trains 15 hours per week. He earned his camo belt in Jiu Jitsu on Saturday and he is a yellow rank in Youth Muay Thai. Next time you see Chris on the mat give him a high five and let know you’re proud of him!!! elitemmakingwood

Elite MMA student highlight of the week is Phil Prevost. Phil started training in 2007. Being in law enforcement he wanted to increase his self defense knowledge. Thru persistent herd work dedication and amazing attitude he earned his Jiu Jitsu Black Belt in October of 2023.
He has now a retired police detective. During the week you will find him on the mat training and building up the other students. In his free time he is supporting his grandkids sporting activities.
Elite MMA is lucky to have him as a student, coach, and mentor to us all. In October of this year he will be earning his first stripe on his black belt. elitemmakingwood

Student highlight of the week is Dr. Wilson Almonte. In his own words this is what training means for him. Brazilian jiu-jitsu is more than a martial art to me — it’s a constant challenge that demands I show up, push through discomfort, and grow. Every session on the mat is an opportunity to set a new benchmark, whether it’s mastering a technique, surviving a hard roll, or simply outworking yesterday’s version of myself. It’s the perfect intersection of physical discipline and mental resilience, and the progress I earn there is some of the most satisfying I’ve ever felt. elitemmakingwood
