Haili brings an extensive competitive volleyball background along with two years of coaching experience. Her playing career includes four years of varsity volleyball at Mission Bay High School (2007–2011), four years of club volleyball with San Diego Volleyball Club, and three years at the collegiate level with the University of Redlands. She played primarily as an outside hitter while also playing libero, giving her experience on both the offensive and defensive sides of the game.
Haili has a genuine love for volleyball and is passionate about helping young athletes grow in their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Her coaching philosophy is fundamentals first, with an emphasis on creating a positive and encouraging environment where athletes feel supported enough to challenge themselves, take risks, and learn from their mistakes. She believes some of the greatest growth happens when athletes aren’t afraid to fail and are given the confidence to keep trying.
As a coach, Haili strives to get to know each athlete and help them recognize their own strengths and potential. Her goal is not only to develop stronger volleyball players, but also to help build confident, resilient teammates who understand the value of hard work, accountability, and supporting one another—while making sure they have fun and continue to love the game along the way.
