I’m proud to announce that Tatevik will make her Atomic Legacy Wrestling debut on Saturday, September 12th at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida.
From the beginning of her career, Tatevik has believed that if she was going to do something, she was going to do it at the highest levels.
That pursuit has taken her through WOW – Women of Wrestling, WWE opportunities, the OVW training center, the New Japan Pro-Wrestling Dojo in Los Angeles, and training with Natalya inside The Dungeon. Her background extends well beyond professional wrestling, with years devoted to martial arts, acting and performance.
Today, she is signed with AEW, and when her schedule allows her to work outside dates, we are selective about the opportunities she accepts.
Atomic Legacy Wrestling is one we wanted.
I’ve known promoter Alex Red since much earlier in his career. I booked talent for Alex years ago, and I’ve watched him continue to build, improve and surround himself with people who care about the product they’re presenting. What ALW has grown into speaks for itself, and I’ve wanted Tatevik to experience that environment.
September 12th is a perfect example of how far that promotion has come.
Tatevik joins an enormous lineup at the RP Funding Center that includes WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, Heidenreich, America’s Most Wanted — James Storm and Chris Harris — Shannon Moore, Teal Piper, Renee Michelle, and many others.
And there is another interesting piece of history on that poster.
Erick Redbeard, Samuel Shaw, Joseph Sawyer and Nikki Storm will all be appearing that night — four talents whose previous chapter together in WWE will be very familiar to wrestling fans.
Sometimes wrestling has a funny way of bringing different chapters of history into the same building.
But for Tatevik, this night is about what’s ahead.
I’ve been there for her journey. I’ve seen the work when nobody was watching, the opportunities that came, the opportunities that didn’t, the risks she took and the standards she refused to lower along the way. My belief in what she is capable of has never changed.
I consider Tatevik second to no one.
Now she gets to walk through the doors of Atomic Legacy Wrestling for the first time, on one of the biggest nights in the promotion’s history, and show a new audience exactly who she is.
I’m proud to represent her. I’m proud to support what Alex and his team are building. And I’m very much looking forward to seeing these two worlds come together.
