After serving with the Tulare County, California Sheriff’s Office from 1997–2025, Deputy Hunziger retired and moved to Missouri. On July 14, 2025, he joined the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office. Since joining our team, Deputy Hunziger applied to Missouri POST as a Veteran Peace Officer and successfully completed the written examination to obtain his Missouri POST certification.
We are proud to have him serving with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office. Congratulations, Deputy Hunziger!

The Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office is proud to team up with First State Community Bank for their annual Winter Coat Drive!

We believe it’s important for all of us to come together as a community and support one another. When local businesses, organizations, and citizens work together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.

❤️ This is what community is all about — helping each other, supporting one another, and making Dunklin County a better and safer place to live.

We encourage everyone who is able to donate and help make sure our neighbors, especially our children, have a warm coat this winter.

📍 Donation Box: Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office Lobby
🕐 Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–4:00 PM

Thank you to First State Community Bank for allowing us to partner with them on this important community effort!

Together, we can make a difference! 🇺🇸💙
