We know this isn’t your typical speed dating event, so we’re answering some of the questions you may have before you roll in! 👇
Do I need to bring a date?
Nope, quite the opposite! 😂 This event is for single adults looking to meet new people. Coming by yourself is encouraged! NOTE: This is an 18+ event. The general public is still welcome at Hijinx!
When is Speed Dating Bowling?

⏰Check-in begins at 5:45 p.m | 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
How much does it cost?
To participate, you’ll purchase a minimum of 2 games of bowling + 1 shoe rental for $14.25 plus tax. NOTE: If you sign up through Eventbrite reservation holds your spot, but your bowling and shoe rental will be purchased at Hijinx. Also best to call ahead so we can get your name on the list!
What happens when I arrive?
From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., we’ll have Mingle Time so everyone can check in, get comfortable, meet other singles and start getting to know each other before bowling begins. After that, we’ll go over how the rotations work and get everyone ready to bowl.
How does the Bowling Speed Dating part work?
Instead of bowling a traditional full game, you’ll bowl quick 5-frame rounds with one ball per frame. We know you are paying for 2 FULL (10-frame) games, so we are giving everyone who participates 6x 5-frame rounds to cover the $14.25 cost. After each round, participants will rotate so you can meet and bowl with someone new! The goal is simple: more conversations, more people, and less time sitting in one place!
Do I need to be good at bowling?
Absolutely NOT. 😂
You do not have to be a bowler to participate. The bowling is there to give you something fun to do while meeting new people. Dating apps are so last year…
Gutter balls are welcome.😉
What time does the actual speed dating begin?
Bowling rotations will begin around 7:30 p.m. and continue until approximately 9 p.m. That gives everyone time to mingle beforehand and understand how the event will work and get to talk with other single people!
What should I wear?
Come comfortable and ready to bowl! The guys will be moving between lanes throughout the evening, so casual attire is perfectly fine. Bowling shoes are included with your required purchase.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, as long as they're single and participating too! ❤️Coming with a friend can make trying something new a little less intimidating, but you’ll still rotate throughout the event and meet other people.
How do I reserve my spot?
Reserve through our Eventbrite page / call a head so we know you're coming!
Then, when you arrive at Hijinx, you'll purchase your 2 games + shoe rental for $14.25 plus tax.
