It’s official, Parchment: Curling is coming! The Kalamazoo Curling Club has purchased 2.5 acres at 215 Island Avenue and has begun fundraising efforts to build a curling facility. Why 2 new ice complexes are seen as a need in Kalamazoo County Separate facilities for the Kalamazoo Curling Club and other local ice user groups have been identified as a need in a recent feasibility study.

For everyone who heard some variation of, “I love watching curling on the Olympics; it’s just too bad that we only get to watch every four years,” today serves as a great reminder that there’s more out there.
