GOLF WITH JUN — ADULT SHORT GAME CAMP

Want to improve your short game and lower your scores? Join us this November at Katy Golf Club for our Adult Short Game Camp!

We’ll focus on the fundamentals and consistency of shots from 100 yards and in, helping you build better technique, more confidence, and a stronger short game.

What We’ll Work On:

* Pitching
* Chipping
* Sand/Bunker Play
* Putting

Location: Katy Golf Club
Dates: November 7, 14, 21 & 28
Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Cost: $150 per month
Limited to 10 participants

Are your hips lifting during the downswing?

Try this simple alignment-stick drill for instant feedback.

Place the stick across your hips and rotate through impact. If the stick lifts upward, your body is likely standing up.

Instead, focus on rotating your hips down toward the ball through impact.

Fix Your Over-the-Top Swing

Slicing or pulling the ball? You may be coming over the top.

This drill is all about creating the feel of the club dropping behind you and your hands moving down instead of throwing the club over the top.

Practice the exaggerated feeling first. Once you’ve built that feel, go back to your normal swing and let it happen naturally.

Hard work always pays off!

One of my Junior student has been putting in the work and is on the right path toward playing college golf. His dedication and perseverance are definitely starting to show.

When he hits the ball well, he REALLY hits it well. The biggest thing he was lacking was consistency. With a few adjustments, a lot of hard work, and plenty of patience, his swing is finally coming together.

A lot of serious junior golfers who play frequently in tournaments are hesitant to make swing changes because they’re afraid of how it might affect their performance. I call that growing pains.

If you want to play at a high level, sometimes you have to be willing to make changes for the long run—even if it means struggling a little in the short term.
