Winning Best Boats & Watercraft and Best of Show at ICAST last year was a huge milestone for our team.

Last year, FluxJet was honored to win Best Boats & Watercraft and then Best of Show at ICAST.

ICAST is the world's largest sportfishing trade show, bringing together manufacturers, dealers, retailers, media, content creators, distributors, and industry professionals from around the world.

We'll be back at ICAST 2026 at Booth 1009, and we'll also have FluxJet kayaks available during Demo Day on July 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

One of the most common questions we get is...

"Can the FluxJet be used in salt water?"

The answer is yes.

Like any boat or piece of marine equipment, simply rinse everything with fresh water after your trip and keep up with normal maintenance.

It's been awesome watching more customer videos come in from all kinds of water. Lakes, rivers, backwaters, bays, and now more saltwater adventures.

Every video shared by the FluxJet community helps answer questions for people who are still researching the kayak, and we really appreciate everyone taking the time to send in clips.

Just like any boat or marine equipment, give it a good freshwater rinse after your trip and keep up with basic maintenance.

As more FluxJets get into customers' hands, we're starting to see more clips from bays, estuaries, rivers, lakes, and coastal waters, and we love seeing where everyone is taking them.

One of the unique features of the FluxJet is the open front area. Every kayak ships with a front hatch cover, but many owners like leaving it open.

It gives you room for a dry bag, makes getting on and off the kayak easy at the ramp or shoreline, and as Cameron Busby showed us... it also makes a pretty great place for a furry first mate to ride.

We love seeing customers find their own ways to use the space, and Henry looks completely at home cruising the river in style.

A lot of our newer followers may have never seen this video.

Back at ICAST 2025, KayakDIY stopped by the FluxJet booth and put together one of the first detailed walkthroughs of the kayak. Since then, the video has gone on to reach more than 209,000 views.

For those who don't know, ICAST is the largest fishing industry trade show in the world. It's where manufacturers, dealers, media, retailers, and content creators get their first look at new products coming to market.

Last year was a big one for us. We introduced FluxJet to the industry, took home Best of Category in the Boat Watercraft category, and started a lot of conversations about what a jet-powered fishing kayak could be.

Now we're heading back to ICAST with customer kayaks already on the water, more content being shared every week, and Demo Day right around the corner.
