Feeling sluggish isn’t a personal failure. It’s your body signaling that something inside is moving a little slower. Tension, fog, restlessness, digestive shifts, changes in energy… these cues show up long before burnout does.
Small, supportive practices can help things flow again. Gentle movement, slow breath, mindful meals or moments of real rest — each one works with awareness, digestion, and nervous system instead of pushing past them.
If you’ve been feeling “off,” try one of the options here, or share your techniques in the comments.
We suggest always consulting with your health care team when trying new practices if your not sure its right for you, or find us in the studio and we can share what we know!

When our bodies are already working harder, it makes sense to balance our practice with softer pacing. With decreased air quality this week, we’re increasing our filtration system and inviting students to notice their breath with a different level of awareness.
There’s no reason to add fire to fire when space and cleaner air can support your system better.

Personal growth in yoga isn't only measured by what happens on the mat—it shows up in the ordinary moments of a day.
The ethical foundations of yoga remind us that practice extends into every part of life. This is where yoga becomes more than something we do. It becomes something we live.

Your practice can change in ways that are hard to notice while they’re happening, and easier to see when looking back. Sometimes the shifts are more obvious, but more often they happen quietly through small adjustments, new perspectives, and evolving priorities.
If your practice has changed, we’d love to hear about your experience. Share your journey, insights, and reflections in the comments below. Your story may inspire someone else who is navigating changes of their own.
Join us for class and see what you find out.

Summer heat doesn't have to mean irritability and overwhelm. When we understand pitta-the fire and motion element that peaks in summer-we can actually work *with* the season instead of against it.
Our carousel walks you through what pitta imbalance looks like, then shares three concrete tools we use at Oasis: cooling breathwork (Sh*tali breath), our slower evening flows, and seasonal foods that genuinely help your body reset.
But here's the real question: What's *your* go-to move when summer heat hits? Drop it in the comments - let's build our community toolkit together.

What happens after class ends? That's where Between the Mat begins.
We designed this course for practitioners like you-people ready to weave yoga philosophy into the actual texture of your life. It's not theory. It's three core practices that translate into how you move, breathe, and care for yourself across the seasons.
You'll learn which practices ground you in fall's introspection, energize you when spring arrives, and support you through every transition. Your breath becomes a tool you carry everywhere-not just on the mat. And the self-care rituals you discover? They shift with your season, your body, your needs.
This is yoga that lives with you.
Ready to bridge the gap between your practice and your life? Reach out-we'd love to walk you through what Between the Mat offers and how it fits your journey.

Our habits shape the way we move through the world. When they’re chosen with intention and practiced consistently, they support not only our own well‑being but the people and spaces around us. These small, steady choices create meaningful change over time.
This is what it means to "Move with intention. Live in alignment."
Asana offers a place to practice those choices — one class at a time, one breath at a time. How does this resonate with you?
We are here seven days a week. www.OasisYogaStudio.com/schedule

Tongue scraping is a simple practice in Ayurveda, and easily overlooked.
While you sleep, digestion slows.
What’s left behind is called ama: a subtle residue the body wasn’t able to fully process. The tongue is where it tends to surface first, which is why this practice comes before anything else in the morning.
The practice itself takes seconds. Gentle strokes, back to front, a few passes is enough, and should never be hard.
As always, not every practice suits every one. Ask us next time you’re in and we’ll share the contraindications, or check with your healthcare team.
Copper Tongue Scrapers are sold in the app or in studio.
