🐎🏍️ THROTTLE & REINS IS ALMOST HERE! 🏍️🐎

We are getting SO close to entries closing, which means we are officially ONE WEEK OUT FROM THE THROTTLE QUALIFIER and just a little over a week away from RACE DAY β€” October 3rd! πŸ”₯

A few housekeeping items to keep everyone on the same page:

🐎 REINS
Your lineup will be set once registration closes on 9/28 at 6:00 PM. You will receive an email with your lineup, and it will also be posted here!

🏍️ THROTTLES
The qualifier is 9/30 at 6:00 PM! You must qualify to run on 10/3. You will pay your entry, qualify, and then your spot will be set for race day!

🐢 We**ie Dogs
You should have received an email with a separate form to categorize your pup so we can have heats organized and ready to go next week! If you haven’t received it, please reach out to us!

This week is our last week of open practice for throttles before their qualifier next Wednesday!

The entries just keep climbing, and we are officially getting CLOSE to event day! October 3rd is right around the corner, so here are a few housekeeping reminders to keep everyone on the same page:

🏍️ 1. THROTTLE OPEN PRACTICE + QUALIFIER
Throttles have open practice this week leading up to the qualifier on 09/30!

We are taking a TOTAL OF 30 BIKES to the main event on 10/03!

And YES β€” we’re bringing back 1st, 2nd & 3rd place from last year to join us again on 10/03!

πŸ’° 2. ENTRY FEES
β€’ Throttle entry: $25 β€” paid at the qualifier on 09/30
β€’ Barrel Racing entry: $55 β€” paid the day of the event

🐎 3. BARREL RACING LINEUP
Barrel racers, your lineup will be set after entries close on 09/28 and before event day. This will help us keep things organized and moving smoothly!

🐢 4. WE**IE DOGS
A follow-up email will be sent on 09/29, after entries close, to help us categorize all the pups and get the lineups prepared ahead of time. This will help keep things as streamlined as possible on event day!

LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT β€” SNAKE RIVER DIRT CO. 🚜

Crooked 8 Events has entrusted Snake River Dirt Co. with project after project to help keep our venue up to the extremely high standards we have set for Crooked 8 β€” and Steve and his crew continue to deliver every time.

From the very beginning, all of the dirt work for our property has been handled by Snake River Dirt Co. They played a huge part in getting the arena ready for the first annual Kuna Krash, an event we were incredibly proud to host.

If you’ve been out to Crooked 8 recently β€” especially during Kuna Stampede β€” you’ve probably seen even more of their work.

πŸ”₯ The new premium seating area
πŸ”₯ The parking lot was leveled and smoothed
πŸ”₯ The food truck alley was prepped and leveled
πŸ”₯ The driveway was cleaned up, leveled, and smoothed out

A venue is only as good as the people behind the scenes, and we are incredibly thankful to have a homegrown Kuna business we can count on.
