5 Star Crash Tested kennels proven to save real dogs in real accidents. Like some of the best stories ours begins with a dog.
(243)

The idea for GUNNER Kennels was conceived in a duck blind and inspired by my own best friend, Gunner. Like all dogs he has one mission in life, and that's to please his owner. I’ve always felt uneasy traveling with him in traditional plastic crates – and was tired of replacing flimsy ones year after year. Watching Gunner work in the field made me realize I wanted to produce a heavy-duty kennel with as much drive as he gave when retrieving. I wanted to build the world’s best dog crate. Since that morning I’m proud to say that GUNNER has helped keep thousands of pets safe on the road – because every detail of this crate is designed and tested in real conditions, for the invested dog owner. Man's Best Friend deserves MAN'S BEST KENNEL®.

A day well spent in Memphis, TN with the industry’s finest. Here’s we got into today on vendor row at CHENE fest.

All summer we look forward to colder weather. Frost on the marsh, the first hard freeze, mornings that finally feel like the season.

Then it gets here. Wind cuts across open water, ice locks up the decoys, and your dog climbs back in the truck soaked from the last retrieve.

The least you can do is give him somewhere warm to come back to. The All-Weather Kit stays on all season, so his kennel is ready whenever the cold is.

As we approach our sixth season without Gunner, we’re reminded why any of this exists. Before there was a company, there was a dog named Gunner. He rode in the truck, slept by the door, and had more drive than we had ever seen in a dog.

Everything we build starts with that dog. Every kennel, every bed, every product bares his name and every detail we obsess over is an attempt to honor our relationship we had with Gunner like you have with your dog.

Gunner is not with us anymore, but his name lives on.
