At CrossFit Tippy, community isn’t just something we talk about - it’s the foundation of everything we do.

From the moment you walk through our doors, you’re surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. Whether it’s your very first class, your first pull-up, or a lifetime PR, you’ll always have coaches and classmates cheering you on.

You see these people more often than some family members. They’re the first to hear about exciting news, celebrate your accomplishments, and encourage you through the hard seasons of life.

But to us, community extends far beyond the walls of our gym. We intentionally create opportunities to build friendships and meaningful relationships outside of class through community activities, social gatherings, and by participating in local events together. We believe the strongest communities are built by sharing experiences both inside and outside the gym.

Fitness is hard, but it doesn’t have to be done alone. We celebrate wins together, support each other through challenges, and strive to create a place where everyone feels welcomed, encouraged, and valued.

Because at the end of the day, we’re more than a gym—we’re a community.

We can’t wait to continue growing this community with each and every one of you.

We’re excited to announce that starting August 10th, we’re adding a 5:30 PM class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

This has been one of our most requested additions, and we’re excited to finally make it happen. As our community continues to grow, we wanted to get evening classes on the schedule as soon as possible.

This is just the beginning! Our goal is to expand the 5:30 PM class to Monday through Friday in the near future as we iron out a few final details. Stay tuned as our class schedule continues to grow.

Whether you’ve been waiting for an after-work class or just need another option to fit your schedule, we’re committed to creating more opportunities for you to train with us.

Shoutout to our July Consistency Club members for showing up, putting in the work, and staying committed to their goals this past month.

At CrossFit Tippy, our Consistency Club recognizes members who attend 16 or more classes in a month. It’s not about being the strongest or the fastest—it’s about building habits that lead to long-term results and wellness.

Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. We can’t wait to see who joins the club in August!

Coach Braxton has been doing CrossFit for the past two years, but his athletic background began long before he ever stepped into a CrossFit gym. Years of playing football, basketball, and baseball helped shape the competitive spirit and team-first mindset he brings to every class he coaches.

Outside of the gym, Braxton enjoys spending time outdoors, watching movies and TV shows, and breaking out the board games with friends and family.

Braxton loves that CrossFit is constantly pushing you to improve. His advice for new members is simple: you get out what you put in. The more consistent you are and the more effort you bring, the more you’ll grow—not just in the gym, but outside of it as well.

Matt recently competed in a Tactical Games event. This was a regional competition held in Iowa that Matt qualified for through past performances. Tactical Games tests endurance and strength combined with premier marksmanship.
