🏀 INSIDE HAND FINISHES 🏀

Finishing at the rim isn’t always about jumping higher, sometimes it’s about throwing the defenders timing off.

Inside hand finishes change the traditional layup footwork by planting off the inside foot, allowing the offensive player to get to the ball up quicker and disrupt the defender’s expected timing.

And timing matters. ⏱️

Wait too long and the help-side defender has time to rotate over and challenge or block the shot. Get the ball up at the right moment and you can finish before the defense is ready.

Different footwork. Different timing. Another tool for finishing around the rim. 🔥

🚨 LEGACY ICE IS NOW ENTIRELY UNDER ARMOUR🚨

Legacy Ice has officially joined the UA Rise High School Circuit!!!

With the addition of UA Rise, Legacy Ice now competes across THREE Under Armour platforms:

🏀 UA FUTURES - 5th - 8th Grade
🏀 UA RISE - 9th - 11th Grade
🏀 UA GRIND - 9th - 11th Grade

This is a HUGE step forward for our program joining a Top 4 AAU shoe circuit in the country and more importantly, another opportunity for our athletes to compete on bigger stages, gain valuable exposure, and continue developing against high-level competition.

The time is NOW to find the next group of players ready to be a part of a prestigious circuit and AAU program!

Legacy Ice tryouts are coming up October 4th! If you’re looking for high-level development, competition, exposure, and the opportunity to play within the Under Armour basketball ecosystem, we want to see you in the gym.

🏀 Ball Handling Battles🏀

Isaac Loechle explains his ball handling battles drill here. This is a great drill to push players to their limits during ball handling and adds a fun competitive challenge 😎

This speed dribbling session challenges every athlete to push the pace while still maintaining control. The goal isn’t just to go fast, the players must work on their speed handles without losing the ball.

In today’s game ball handling matters for EVERY position.
Guards need it.
Wings need it.
Forwards need it.
Bigs need it.

Positions 1–5 should be comfortable putting the ball on the floor and making plays.
