To me, choosing Wing Chun is choosing the path to self-mastery.

Forgiveness: The Way of the Samurai
A true samurai understands that forgiveness is not weakness. It is one of the greatest forms of strength. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting the pain, excusing betrayal, or pretending that injustice never happened. Instead, it means choosing peace over bitterness and wisdom over anger.
Many warriors spend years carrying the weight of past wounds. They replay old battles in their minds, allowing the actions of others to control their emotions and steal their inner peace. But the Bushido warrior knows that holding onto hatred is like carrying a heavy sword every day—it exhausts the spirit and clouds judgment.
The samurai path teaches self-mastery. You cannot always control what others do, but you can control how you respond. When you forgive, you break the chains that bind you to the past. You reclaim your freedom. You refuse to let someone else's mistakes define your future.
Forgiveness does not erase memories. The lesson remains, but the pain no longer rules your heart. A warrior learns from every wound, grows stronger through every hardship, and walks forward with dignity and honor.
The strongest warriors are not those who conquer others, but those who conquer themselves. True victory is found in inner peace.
