Wrestling recorded the 19th-best team GPA, marking the sixth consecutive season that F&M has earned NWCA Scholar Team status

Wrestling Receives NWCA Scholar Team Status - Franklin & Marshall College LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall wrestling team has once again been recognized as one of the top performing teams in the classroom by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). With a GPA of 3.466, the Diplomats ranked 19th for cumulative GPA across all Division I wrestling teams.

Four Wrestlers Named NWCA Scholar All-Americans - Franklin & Marshall College LANCASTER, Pa. – The Division I Franklin & Marshall wrestling team had four student-athletes recognized as National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-Americans. Mason Leiphart, Josh Palmucci, Brandon Carr, and James Conway each earned the honor for the Diplomats.

With the NCAA Championships now in the books. James Conway has done so much for our program. His goal was to be All-American, and while he came up one match short, what he accomplished is still something to be incredibly proud of—this tournament is never easy.

James put it all on the line and wrestled his heart out. Falling short of a goal is tough, but he can walk away knowing he gave everything he had every time he stepped on the mat.

Thank you to all of our alumni and fans who showed up in Cleveland, as well as those who sent messages and well wishes from afar. Your support means more than you know.

We had incredible support in Cleveland and we’re already looking forward to St. Louis next year.

James Conway left it all on the mat to conclude one of the most decorated careers in school history. 108 wins and the only Elite 90 Award recipient in school history highlight too many accolades to name.
