We are surrounded by constant input.
Notifications. Conversations. Opinions. Expectations.
Pratyahara can look like putting down your phone, practicing in silence, taking a slow walk, or pausing before reaching for another distraction.
Less input creates more room for awareness.

This special extended practice option will offer clients an opportunity to learn about and explore all 8 of our limbs of yoga. Our practice is so much more than postures and transitions on a yoga mat. Yoga Connect’s lineage believes that we should practice ethically in our personal lives and how we interact with others. It teaches us different breathing and energetic movement techniques to calm and help us withdraw senses. Once we can bring awareness into a more focused area of concentration, one can often tune in and begin to move toward a meditative state. All of these are lifelong practices.

This 75 minute Flow and Pause style of practice will still extend clients the opportunity to move and flow, while incorporating moments to pause, draw inward and observe the other aspects of living & experiencing your yoga practice. Please help his plan accordingly by pre-registering for Sunday 8/23 at 4pm!

Pranayama reminds us that breath can become a bridge.
A longer exhale can soften tension. A steady rhythm can anchor the mind. One intentional breath can interrupt an automatic reaction.
Your breath is always offering you a way back.
