Stepping away for a quick reset šŸ§˜ā€ā™‚ļøāœØ
Taking one full week off social media to detox, recharge, and reconnect with real life.
Recent research shows even a short break can make a big difference:
• Anxiety symptoms ↓ by ~16%
• Depression symptoms ↓ by ~25%
• Insomnia ↓ by ~15%
(From a 2025 study in JAMA Network Open on young adults who did a 1-week detox — turns out giving your brain a break from the scroll really works!)
Here’s to clearer thoughts, better sleep, more presence, and zero FOMO guilt. See you on the other side in a week — fully reset and ready. šŸ’«
Who’s tried a social media break before? Drop your experience below (I’ll see it when I’m back 😌)

ā€œEverything’s corporate now. 😤
That ā€˜organic’ egg farm? Bought out by a mega-corp—same cheap feed, diluted quality, higher prices.
Every shopping plaza? Wall-to-wall franchises. Same cookie-cutter vibe everywhere.
Even the Las Vegas Strip—minus the Wynn—feels like one giant corporate machine: mega-chains, endless upsells, totally out of touch with what real Vegas used to be.
Tennis clubs? Lifetime, most country clubs—corporate-owned. They hire entry-level staff but charge expert-level prices. Same with Massage Envy, Stretch Zone, KidStrong… membership fees sky-high, but the service? Diluted. Standardized. Soulless.
The matrix wants you locked in—paying premium for mediocre.
But here’s the hack: Go independent. Find the real pros who own their craft.
15-20 years ago, people called me crazy for building my own website and going solo. Now? Everyone’s got a YouTube channel + personal site… even if they’re novice or expert.
I escaped early. Built independence. Make twice the money. Deliver twice the value to my clients and students. No corporate middleman skimming the top.
Quality over quantity. Real skill over branding. Freedom over chains.
Who’s with me? Drop a šŸ”„ if you’re done with the corporate dilution.
Seek the independents—they’re the ones still delivering šŸ”„ value.

Forty-three orbits ā€˜round the desert sun,
Where neon lights and tennis courts become one.
On strips of asphalt, beneath casino heights,
I learned to serve beneath those dazzling lights.

Born where fountains dance in arid air,
Where dreams are dealt and fortunes flare.
My childhood marked by mountain peaks,
And tennis matches in summer’s heat-streaked weeks.

The ball’s sweet bounce against my strings,
Like slot machines’ familiar rings.
But unlike games of chance inside,
Each point I earned with desert pride.

At forty-three, I pause to see
The gifts this life’s bestowed on me:
The city’s glow that helped me grow,
The court’s red clay, the evening’s show.

From junior leagues to present day,
Grateful for each game I play.
In Vegas’ arms, I found my pace,
Between the serve and saving grace.

So here’s to years of desert schemes,
To tennis courts and childhood dreams,
To gratitude that fills me whole—
Another year of heart and soul.

In this city built on shifting sand,
I’ve found my place, I understand:
Each birthday brings a chance to say
How blessed I am to see this day.šŸ™šŸ¼šŸ‘ŠšŸ¼šŸŽ¾
