That big post-game smile can only mean a few things. Big hits, big wins, or in the case of Cohen Jewett, both! Cohen stepped up on Field 9 and delivered a massive blast — crushing his first ever homerun, a nuke over the left‑field fence that helped the Bambinos secure a one‑run victory and move to 2–0 in pool play at the Heart of America tournament at 3&2 last weekend. Congratulations Cohen.

Thanks for dancing a little in the rain with us this weekend at the PGKC Heart of America. Big thanks to our grounds crew for working hard on the fields to keep them playing. In the end, we got most of it in and we hope you made some great fall ball memories along the way. See you all next time.

3&2 would like to congratulate Maverick Schmidt. In the bottom of the 2nd on Field 4, with the Scrappers trailing 4–2, Maverick jumped on the first pitch of his first at‑bat and launched his first career homerun — a towering shot that cleared center field. Congratulations Maverick on your big shot.

3&2 would like to congratulate Logan Schryer! With the game hanging in the balance at the PGKC Heart of America tourney, Logan stepped up and delivered a magic moment in pool play Saturday. In the last inning on Field 3, Logan turned on a pitch and crushed a 3‑run homer over the left‑field fence — a no‑doubt blast that flipped the energy, fired up the dugout, and sent the Blue Bananas Grey players into a frenzy. Congrats Logan on your big hit!

River Hilboldt (10U, KC Crushers) delivered a monster moment at the PGKC Heart of America Tournament — blasting his first career homerun to left field on Field 5 and setting the tone for a Crushers win. And he didn’t stop there. River took the mound and locked down the W as the winning pitcher, owning the day on both sides of the ball. Congratulations River!

3&2 would like to congratulate Nash Grimes, who wasted zero time getting the Leawood Thunder rolling last night in league. In the 1st inning on Field 5, Nash stepped in the box on a hot September night, wiped off the forehead, focused, and boom...turned on a pitch and cleared the center‑field fence, a missile that instantly flipped the energy and jump‑started the momentum for Thunder. Hot night. Hot bat. 1st HR memory of a lifetime. Congratulations Nash!
