While our course can be a competitive test for low handicappers, holes here have enough negotiable escape routes to allow even the most casual golfer a magical round. Strategically located lakes and winding streams meander throughout the property. Combined with terrain that flows from thickly wooded corridors to open grasslands, this setting offers numerous options for exciting, dramatic holes with constant elevation flow. Thanks to the design team's clever use of the natural stone quarry, several holes will provide golfers with lofty panoramas of the amazing countryside. In the tradition of the Midwest's finest golf courses, Canyon Farms Golf Club has wide Meyer Zoysia fairways, A1/A4 bent grass greens and a fescue-bluegrass combination in our rough. Water and the quarry will be the primary hazards, but be prepared for a few other surprises. We will soon being building a new clubhouse for the Canyon Farms Golf Club, located in Lenexa, Kansas. Planned amenities include banquet facilities, dining rooms, meeting and conference rooms, bar and grille, men's and women's locker rooms, offices, golf pro shop, cart storage, and golf bag storage. The clubhouse will offer all the conveniences and upscale amenities expected by golfers, guests, visitors, and families. From the south side of the clubhouse, guests will be able to enjoy some of the club's most beautiful views. A covered outdoor veranda will have generous al fresco seating for both dining and special events. Located off the main dining area, the veranda will overlook the 18th green and one of the dazzling lakes as well as providing views of 7 golf holes.
