Cape Henlopen students and families,
The Cape Henlopen High School Football Program is preparing for the 2026 season, and we are inviting all interested students to join our team, including team managers!
Whether you have participated in summer workouts or are considering football for the first time, it is not too late to get involved. We encourage prospective players and their parents or guardians to attend our upcoming parent meeting and review the important dates below.

Equipment Distribution
• Monday, August 10 at 4:00 p.m. — Juniors and Seniors
• Tuesday, August 11 at 4:00 p.m. — Freshmen and Sophomores
First Day of Football Camp
Thursday, August 13 at 7:00 a.m.

Physicals:
All players must have a completed and approved physical form before participating. DIAA medical forms are available here:

Players are encouraged to bring the following items to camp:
• Football cleats
• Mouthpiece
• Football girdle
• Water bottle
Players who plan to participate but have not attended summer workouts should report for equipment distribution and be ready for the first day of camp on August 13.
Football is a great opportunity to represent Cape Henlopen, compete alongside your classmates, build lasting friendships, and become part of a team. We welcome experienced players as well as students who have never played organized football.
