The placement of magnets matters just as much as the magnets themselves.
At XLR8, we see magnetic therapy differently. We aren’t creating a magnetic grid around the horse. Instead, we place magnets at critical points to stimulate acupressure points, and at critical points of soreness such as the topline, SI joints, behind the withers, etc.
Certain acupressure points correspond to calming, gut function, kidney function, and many other beneficial processes in the body.
Why does that matter? Because complete recovery requires a holistic approach. The ability to rest after work, especially in unfamiliar environments, is crucial to performance the next day. Relaxation in the trailer means a fresher horse after miles on the road. Rest is the first step to recovery, and the result is easy to see.
The goal was never to simply add magnets for the sake of saying we use magnetic therapy. Where each of them are placed is intentional, targeting areas associated with circulation, muscle function, and recovery support to create a more holistic approach to equine wellness.
