The Lexington Police Department is now offering FREE “Occupant with Autism” decals to help first responders recognize when someone in a vehicle may communicate, respond, or behave differently during a traffic stop, collision, or roadside emergency.

As an inclusive play space, this is exactly the kind of community initiative we’re proud to support. 💙♾️

We plan to stop by and pick up some decals to keep right at the Busy Bees Playhouse front desk for our families who may need one. 🐝

Small steps like this can make a BIG difference in creating safer, more understanding interactions for individuals with autism and their families.

NEW PROGRAM ALERT - "OCCUPANT WITH AUTISM" DECALS

Responding to the needs of the Town of Lexington, SC community is of great importance to the Lexington Police Department and we are now offering free "Occupant with Autism" decals so that first responders will have greater awareness and understanding during traffic stops, collisions, or a roadside emergency with someone who has Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The "Occupant with Autism" decals are free of charge and can be picked up at the front desk of the Lexington Police Department at 111 Maiden Lane in Lexington during business hours.
