We want to say something from the heart. ❤️

There is a lot happening in our community right now, and emotions are HIGH. We’re seeing anger, fear, protests, hurtful comments, and people turning against each other. Social media has made it very easy to judge an entire group of people based on the words or actions of a few.

Yesterday, one of our members came into Alpha and genuinely asked us, “Am I still welcome here?”

That honestly broke our hearts, because no member of Alpha Fitness should ever have to wonder that.

Supporting our Hispanic and immigrant community does NOT mean that we suddenly dislike or judge every white person, every law-enforcement officer, or anyone who may see things differently than we do. Just as we would never want Hispanics to be judged by the actions of one Hispanic person, we will not judge an entire race or group by the hateful words or actions of some individuals.

There are people of every race and background in this community whom we love, respect, appreciate and are proud to call our friends and members.

We may not agree with everything happening right now. We may not agree with each other politically. And we certainly don’t have to agree with hateful or racist behavior from anyone. But disagreement does not have to turn into hatred toward one another.

Alpha Fitness is a gym for our community. Hispanic, white, Black, law enforcement, immigrant families, lifelong residents—if you walk through our doors and treat the people around you with DIGNITY and RESPECT, you are welcome here. ❤️

We don’t want fear and division deciding how we treat our neighbors. We want Alpha to continue being a place where people can walk in, work out, encourage one another, and feel comfortable knowing they belong.

Different backgrounds. Different opinions. One community. ❤️ Alpha Fitness.

Alpha Fitness will be CLOSING EARLY on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

⏰ Staffed hours: 8 AM – 4 PM

🔑 24-Hour Access Members: You can still access the gym as usual with your key fob.

We hope everyone has a safe & happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸💪

Regular staffed hours resume Tuesday.
