Taking a Trip Down Memory Lane

While our Rec staff starts working on the new Recreation Media Guide, we thought it would be a great time to go back in time and appreciate the many great people who have helped make our Parks & Rec Department what it is today.

Over the years, so many dedicated employees, coaches, instructors, volunteers, and community members have poured their time, energy, and passion into serving our community.

This department has a lot of history—and that history is because of great people who cared about our community and the programs they helped build.

Stay tuned as we take a look back and celebrate some of the people and memories that have helped shape Parks & Recreation through the years!

📣 ATTENTION YOUTH SPORTS! 🏐

We are currently seeking volleyball coaches for our upcoming youth season!

High school students are welcomed! This is a great opportunity to get involved in the community, work with local youth, and earn community service hours.

Registration is open for our FIRST Lego League Robotics Teams!

The teams are split by age, 9-14yo are in Challenge, 5-9yo are in Explore. Registration for both teams is available now with parent meeting and team meetings starting in mid-September.

Parents who are interested in volunteering their time to coach and help with supervision are needed. Please email [email protected] if interested.

Monday-Thursdays starting Aug.10th, batting Cages & Mini Golf will be CLOSED!

Summer Adventure Camp 2026 has officially come to an end! We hope all of our campers had a fun and memorable summer with us. From visits to the public library to our Friday swim days, we hope you had the best summer- because we know we did!

A big shout-out to our amazing camp staff- you all were awesome and helped make this summer so special!

Thank you parents/campers for being part of such a wonderful experience. We hope to see everyone again next year. Good luck with the upcoming school year, campers-see you next year!

What a great weekend for our Community Garage Sale! A huge thank you to everyone who hosted a booth & all who came out to shop & support.

We had such a good turnout and so much interest that we’re excited to announce we’ll be hosting another sale soon- so keep an eye out for upcoming sign-up details.
