It’s that time of year again! We’re excited to welcome our MSM families back to campus for our annual Athletics Parent Meeting.

Join us Wednesday, August 19, in the McAuley Gym for important updates and information from our Athletics Department as we kick off another exciting year of Belles Athletics.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK | MARLEY BAGBY

Our first Athlete of the Week of the year is Marley Bagby '28 - Marley put in the work all summer in the weight room with Coach Reed, showing her teammates, coaches, and herself what it looks like to take your game to another level. She didn’t miss a single day of summer workouts and was consistently one of the first to arrive and the last to leave. What stands out most is the way that Marley shows up - with an upbeat, encouraging, and positive attitude both in the weight room and on the court.

We’re proud of the work Marley has put in and can’t wait to see what this season has in store for her and MSM Volleyball. Keep leading the way, Marley!

Behind every Belle is a team of coaches who invest countless hours into developing our student-athletes 💜 Last night, our coaching staff and athletic department came together to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and prepare for an exciting season ahead.

We’re incredibly grateful for the dedication, passion, and heart this group pours into Mount St. Mary Athletics every day. Here’s to another year of growth, competition, and cheering on our Belles!

Congratulations to our Rockettes Dance Team on an incredible team camp this weekend! The team received all blue superior ribbons for their dance evaluations, and 8 athletes received All-American nominations! (Jeannette Albright, Lucy Busfield, Julia Halter, Ella Horton, Ellie Jennings, Catherine Johnson, Elli Roberts, Rebecca Yakoubian)

Amazing job, ladies!

We’re excited to welcome Ellie Langley, DPT ’14, back to Mount St. Mary Academy as the newest member of our faculty and athletics team!

As our new Physical Therapist, Langley will work alongside our coaches, athletic trainer, performance training coach, and student-athletes to provide in-house physical therapy services, helping our Belles stay healthy and perform at their best.

She’ll also play an important role in expanding our Health Sciences Program, teaching our inaugural Health Occupations and Medical Terminology courses. These new offerings, alongside Anatomy and Introduction to Sports Medicine, will give students valuable hands-on learning and real-world exposure to careers in healthcare.

We are so thrilled to have you back at the Mount!

The energy is building for another great year of MSM Athletics! Campus has been buzzing as our student-athletes prepare for another season ahead.

Our athletes have been putting in the work through Performance Training with Coach Reed, building strength, endurance, and confidence while embracing the program's three pillars of success: leadership, work ethic, and toughness.

Meanwhile, our Rockettes are hard at work during Work Week; learning routines, refining skills, and growing together as a team in preparation for another amazing year supporting their Belles and Rockets!

The hours behind the scenes are what make the moments under the lights possible. We can't wait to cheer them on this year. Go Belles! 💜
