With tournaments and other teams, my camp participants sometimes find themselves and very small sessions. While I could probably push everyone into three or maybe even two camps the size of most other camps and double my profits, the attention and support I am able to give each athlete is crucial if they want to get markedly faster and more skilled on their edges and is so much more rewarding. Just as much as I was a perfectionist when I was a speed skater, I am as much a perfectionist when it comes to the skaters I coach. I learned back then how to put in the work and do it correctly, and I am instilling that same attention to detail and work ethic in the athletes I coach. It taught me that success was unlimited if you're willing to do more than just go through the motions .
Getting to know each, and every one of these kids , whether they are a new participant or one that has been skating with me for years, I love getting to know them better and I love becoming an important part of their journey. I fully believe in each and every one of them being able to reach their goals. My moto has always been l will put as much effort into you as you put into your own development. Can't wait to see where everyone's journeys take them.

I don't get to do a lot of tech these days, but I always like to have something for the parents and players to track schedules. The most importantly put roster numbers to names. Just a little hobby for me and a way to give back to the youth hockey community.

Congrats to varsity for winning the CHSAA State Championship ! I feel so honored to have worked with these boys over the last three years, and many of them long before coming to Creek. It's so rewarding to see their hockey journeys culminate in such a great moment. It's a great program with an amazing staff who cares deeply about the players as both athletes and people. This is why high school Hockey is one of the best sports you can play.
