The Harvest Moon was shining bright well before dark over hole #5 on the 18-hole Championship course at Foothills Golf Course on Saturday, September 26. With the trees also starting to change, Fall in Colorado is kicking into high gear!

Dance the Night Away at the Black Tie Spy, Mother Son Dance! Get dressed up for a special night out filled with dancing, games and food.

Dinner includes a variety of heavy appetizers and desserts. For children ages 4 - 14 and their Mothers, Grandmothers, Stepmothers, and Aunts! Formal attire and/or costumes are welcome (but not required).

Start planning your costume for BOO-rific Bash & Splash!!

This fun, indoor event for the whole family includes trick-or-treating, bounce houses and swimming. Kids get to show off their costumes while parents interact with local businesses.

When: Friday, October 23, 6-8 pm

Cost: $5 per child, entry is free for adults accompanying their children

As part of our ongoing effort to enhance and improve your parks and recreational experiences, Foothills is developing a new master plan to help guide the future of parks, trails, recreation and golf facilities, programs and services across the District.

Engagement and community feedback will occur August – October 2026, which will shape the new master plan to be released in 2027.

- Take the community survey
- Participate in the Budget Prioritization exercise

Today on Responsible Dog Ownership Day, we encourage dog owners to commit to their pets' well-being by focusing on their health, safety, training and love.

One of the best ways to protect your pet is to keep them on a leash at all time when out in public. Jefferson County, which includes all Foothills parks and trails, has a leash law that states: All dogs must be on-leash or securely confined at all times. Dogs in violation of this law can be impounded and their owners fined.

And, please remember to always pick up after your dog! 💩🤢💩

Join us for Clement Park Community Clean Up Days!

Keeping our parks beautiful relies on the whole community. Come out to Clement Park on Monday, September 21 from 10 am to 12 pm to get some sun while giving back. Volunteers should plan to meet at the amphitheater at 10 am.

Community members of all ages are welcome to join. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the cleanup. Dress for Colorado weather, wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes, and bring your own water. We provide latex gloves, trash grabbers and buckets.
