Long Beach Poly Jackrabbit Baseball

Calling all Jackrabbits! Poly High School Baseball invites all Poly students interested in joining the program to come out and compete at this year's baseball tryouts September 5th at Cabrillo Field. Whether you're a new student-athlete or an incoming freshman, this is your opportunity to showcase your skills and become part of the Jackrabbit tradition. All players and incoming freshmen who participated in this summer's training camp are also expected to attend tryouts. Bring your hard work, determination, and team spirit as we build for an exciting season ahead.

Our future Jackrabbits experienced their first day of Freshman training camp yesterday. Under the guidance of the Poly coaching staff and varsity players in attendance, we think the legacy of the Jackrabbit program will be in good hands. Let’s go!

Incoming freshman interested in Poly High School baseball are invited to upcoming tryouts beginning July 9th, offering a great opportunity to connect with the Jackrabbits program and develop skills ahead of the season. As part of the experience, the four-day training camp will provide 10 total hours of on-field work, led by the Jackrabbit Baseball coaching staff. Camp participants will also benefit from appearances by current varsity players, giving them valuable insight into the program. Registration includes the full camp experience, a camp t-shirt, and a team meal on the final day, making this a fun and competitive way to get started with Poly baseball.

Camp donation is $75. Upon registration completion, you will be notified of event updates and payment details prior to the start of camp. Register through the link on our lbpolybaseball.com website.

It’s CIF Playoff Gameday! Our Jackrabbits take on the Phantoms at East LA College at 6pm today. Come up to Monterey Park to cheer our boys on in Round 2 of the 2026 postseason. Let’s go!
