On Feb. 19, 2026 at-risk missing person Kaiya Pouvi was located safe and unharmed in the City of Paramount.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 9-year-old at-risk missing person Kaiya Pouvi. Pouvi was last seen when she left class at the end of school (Bret Harte Elementary). When family checked for her at the parent pick up she was no where to be found. She did pass a student a note earlier in the day stating she was going to run away. Staff confirmed she was there and left on foot from their location and out of sight. Pouvi is on foot, does not have a cell phone nor any other tracking device on her person and unknown amount of money.
