Then you learned how to shoot fast & realistically in Pistol 201 Speed & Performance and how to use pistol optics to Boss up those advanced skills in Pistol 202 Red Dot: Unlock its Power.

Now get your cardio up & take your shooting to a dynamic level -- not boring, basic standing in one place. This advanced class teaches efficient movement and is a great introduction to pistol competition shooting.

Safety is always primary with us and who we allow in our advanced classes, and working from a holster is one of the riskiest things you can do with a gun if not done correctly.

Requirement to attend:

Only clients who've taken Pistol 201 or 202, or who've taken Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) training with me, as one of few CCW trainers actually teaching proper holster draw and rapid fire.

Gun, appropriate holster, at least 2 mags and mag carrier is helpful, 150 rounds.

We don't glamorize, romanticize nor glorify guns here.

We don't describe ourselves as pro-gun nor anti-gun.

We are 100% unapologetically Pro Self Defense by any means necessary.

And we think the most vulnerable, marginalized folks should have all the means.

Self defense is your human right and that right should be accessible to all.

But buying & owning a gun doesn't automatically make you safer.

If you don't take your education and responsibility of gun ownership seriously, statistically you're more likely to harm yourself or someone you love or didn't intend to harm.

We make sure people learn to be safe & responsible from day 1 and consider the decision to own a gun seriously and not casually like most people in the gun world.

Why I tell students most careless, negligent people around guns are often "professionals"

Don't put these folks up on a pedestal.

They have become so complacent, overconfident and casual with guns.

So casual, they keep a gun inside a bag or purse together with other items that could snag the trigger or they themselves snag the trigger with their fingers while reaching for something else.

He was so casual, he wasn't even careful about looking inside his bag first to see what he was reaching for, knowing he has a gun inside with everything else.

And as usual, the media describes it as accidental when it was totally NEGLIGENT, preventable and avoidable if he was being responsible and prudent.

If you are going to keep a gun in a bag/purse, keep it in its own separate compartment, and HOLSTERED so its trigger and trigger guard are completely covered so no fingers or items can touch the trigger unless the gun is intentionally upholstered.

Now imagine being this negligent and being allowed back on a job that requires professional handling of guns and a responsibility for public safety and given a loaner gun.🤷‍♂️

Our method is step by step from practicing wirh rubber guns first, before learning to load and unload with unloaded guns and dummy rounds.

Then during live fire in a class of up to 10 students, it is always 1 on 1 instructor to student ratio for utmost safety and every student getting 1 on 1 personal attention and feedback, while firing guns for the 1st time.

Every 4 weeks, I fly back to L.A. from my life in exile in México to teach for 10 days.

✅️ NEW: Due to demand from Pistol 101 clients wanting to learn how to buy their 1st gun, Pistol 102 Try Before You Buy has been added the 1st Sunday 12pm. P102 is now offered both Sundays.

Private lessons can be booked anytime Mon-Fri between 8:30am-4:30pm.

For serious clients, Pistol 101/+ AND Pistol 201 or 202 taken within a year of getting approved for Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit will count towards 8 of 16 hours CCW training. Then the remaining 8 hours can be completed privately with me.

While I am not here, weekly Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) training is available with our partners

Bill drill: 6 shots at 7yds is a standard test

We ended Pistol 202 Red Dot: Unlock Its Power by shooting Bill drill once.

No practice, no warm-up...just putting everything together from the 4 hour lesson:

- Seeing enough of the dot upon presentation
- Consistent dominant support grip so dot returns consistently
- Observing in real time how the dot behaves through the course of fire

I am especially proud of this client's dedicated progress taking our classes:

1. He and his partner took Pistol 101 in January to overcome their fear of guns.
2. Then he took Pisfol 102 Try Before You Buy in April and persevered in the pouring rain, trying 12 guns.
3. He decided on buying Rost Martin RM1C as his 1st handgun and returned last Monday to take Pistol 201 Speed & Performance to learn how to shoot his pistol fast.
4. 3 days later, he jumped right into Pistol 202 Red Dot class to learn to shoot his dot dynamically and look at that confidence, performing on demand a totally new drill on the 1 and only attempt in front of the class!👏💪

The progression in 4 classes from never having touched a gun to shooting like a Boss!👊🏾💥

In 6 years of teaching 2000+ ppl of all visual abilities, I've helped 2 people who cannot close one eye or wink.

So it's virtually impossible for them to shoot irons because of the double image they see, and even with optics as their eyes compete for dominance.

The solution is simple and helps explain why people see Olympic shooters cover one eye.

By taping the eye pro to cover one eye, the shooter can relax with 2 eyes naturally open, and the tape helps them ignore the non-dominant eye.

The results are instant-- in Vanessa's case, from scattered 1st shots with 22LR, to Holes in Holes with her 1st shots of 9mm with irons once I taped her eye pro.

She ended with all 5 shots making one hole wirh 9mm with red dot.👊🏾💥
