The Brook Casino’s new Secret Garden outdoor stage is ready for concerts, comedy, community events, and everything in between with a flexible Elation lighting system designed and integrated by Port Lighting Systems.
Led by Ron Kuszmar, VP of Architectural & Theatrical Lighting at Port Lighting, the project came together on an ambitious four-week timeline. Kuszmar worked closely with Jon Schwille of Peter E. Schmitt Co. and Ross Blitz of Elation to select a versatile lineup of Rebel Wash 12, Rebel Profile, Proteus Radius, SŌL IV Blinders, and Six+ PAR L fixtures.
Built for creative flexibility and New England’s unpredictable weather, the new rig gives The Brook a multifunctional system capable of adapting from one event to the next.

We had a great time connecting with the local production community, sharing ideas, and getting hands-on with the latest Elation technology.
One of the standouts of the day was the Rebel Wash, delivering powerful output, rich color, a versatile zoom range, and fast, precise movement in a compact design. It was great to see the fixture in action and show just how much flexibility it can bring to productions of all kinds.
