This one is particularly special to me… I’m so proud of you Mary Buirgy!! 😊💃

The 100th Anniversary of the was Mary’s second ballroom competition ever! 🎉🤩 And of course, she killed it! 💪🏼 No one can hold back her competitive side, and she proudly MORE than achieved her goals.. she made it to a semi final round in her single dance tango out 19 bronze and silver level competitors!!

And then.. she surprised herself by making it to the semi-final round of her Smooth Championship and placed 13th out of 21 Ladies!!

It was so fun to have my mom join us on the competitive floor this time around, and I don’t think anyone had more fun than her and her instructor Jackson!

Congratulations Catherine on your fabulous dancing at the 💃🕺! She has been prepping hard for her first competition back, with endless hours spent on the practice floor .. and it paid off! Catherine danced beautifully with her instructor Jackson in International Ballroom, and left as a Vice Champion in her A1 Championship 🏆👏👏 She also placed 6th in her A2 Championship and danced strong in all her single dances! 🥇🥈🎉

This was Catherine’s first time competing with our studio and we all had an absolute blast in our travels together! She also made sure to be there for every one of our competitors to cheer them on 🤗🎉🙏

Catherine is excited about adding International Latin for our next competition in just a few weeks!

Daniel came home from the with two Ballroom Championship and two Latin Championship titles!! 🥇🏆🥇Along with 1st through 3rd places in all of his single dances. 👏🕺💃👏

I’m so incredibly proud of you and how hard you have worked to get here. It was amazing to be back on the Blackpool floor with you, and in such a huge way for their 100th Anniversary!! 🤩

This time our group of dancers grew to close to 20 people! Many of our close family took the journey with us, and we had such a blast together. Endless fun memories!

Holy cow Austin!! I’m so proud of you and how you danced at the 🤩! We made it to the 100th Anniversary 👏

Austin had super tough competition, dancing against Silver syllabus competitors and the biggest divisions.. and he walked away placing 2nd in BOTH of his Smooth Championships!! 💃👏🕺 So Awesome!! Vice Champion in Blackpool 🎉🏆

He got so many compliments, and walked off the floor saying it was “the best he’s ever danced” 👌 Which is FABULOUS to accomplish ON the competition floor.. especially at Blackpool! I fully agree, he absolutely killed it.. I’m so excited for his next big leaps in our dance journey together 💃🕺

It was a blast for Austin to join a social event and get to know our amazing group of guys and instructors. And thank you for being there to cheer your hubby and everyone on the whole time!! It was so fun to have you there to celebrate with us and join the fun 🤩

Congratulations to my student Tabin McHaffie!! For 2 years we have been planning on making it to the 100th Anniversary of the to dance in the ProAm Smooth events.. and it was epic!

Tabin took home the Champion 1st place 🥇 medals for both his Championship events, as well as 1st place across the board in his single dances…! 🤗🤩🕺💃

I couldn’t be more proud of how hard he’s worked and how he danced all week. Also, Tabin definitely gets the award for the best floor craft and leading! He owns our space with his frame, and kept me feeling confident and safe on a busy floor full of professional leaders.. way to go! 👏👏👌

It was so much fun to travel with and see so many of our friends and fellow competitors from the USA ! The social events and add ons were as always some of the highlights.

What an absolutely incredible week at the Blackpool Dance Festivals’ 100th Anniversary!! We had 5 students compete, left it all on the dance floor, and made so many memories that will last a lifetime. 💃🫶🏼🕺

I am so so proud of every single one of our students that killed it this week! They each deserve their own spotlight, so stay tuned for more posts..

Words can’t describe the feeling.. being here with 10 people from our studio, and an even bigger group of our friends from the US and the , competing with over 50 different countries from around the world! What a dream come true!
