As we close out the school year, we want to acknowledge that we rely exclusively on fundraising to provide our players with opportunities to compete in our league and in tournaments and with high quality jerseys. While we ask our families to take on some of those costs, we also fundraise every year in order to minimize the cost of playing ultimate.

We're feeling thankful on this Sunday! Sun Prairie United Ultimate Frisbee is grateful to the three restaurants in Sun Prairie that supported our team through fundraisers this season: Culver's, Burrachos, and Rosati's Pizza of Sun Prairie! We couldn't have competed this spring without your financial support.

Headed out on the recruiting trail at Sun Prairie East High School and Sun Prairie West High School tonight! If you know of any incoming 9th graders or current high school students who want to join up next school year, have them email Coach Hansen at [email protected] for information about how to get connected to our club.

We finished the 2026 state tournament 3-2, with wins against Oregon, McFarland, and La Follette, to take 5th place. We played for our eight seniors and for Nathan, who spent the tournament recovering from an injury at nearby American Family Children's Hospital.

Despite a challenging spring, we're so proud of our players' residence and spirit, and we're grateful for our families who supported us all season long. We are truly . 🥏

SPUF went 1-1 today and made the championship bracket of the state tournament! We beat Oregon 13-0 but dropped a heartbreaker on universe point to Verona. 🌌

Come cheer us on tomorrow at 8:30, 10:15, and 12/12:30 at the University Bay Fields in Madison as we send our seniors off the best way we can! 🥏

We head into the state tournament this weekend as the 4th seed out of 14 teams. We're so proud of the way our players have responded during this challenging, injury-plagued season. (We're thinking of you, Nathan!). 💪
