The Lightning Bolts shared their usual course this morning with Tuckahoe and Chester YMCA for their first meet of the season! These amazing runners took on every challenge, including a massive hill leading to the finish line! They pushed through, gave it their all, and crossed that finish line with something to be proud of. Way to go, runners.... another run checked off the list, and another great step in your season! We are so proud of you!

Week 2 of soccer is officially in the books! The kids are starting to find their rhythm with their new teammates, and it’s been so much fun watching them come together on the field. The clouds rolled through and gave us a little shade here and there, which was definitely welcomed! Most importantly, the kids had fun, played hard, and enjoyed another great weekend of soccer. A big THANK YOU to everyone who traveled out to our neck of the woods to join us for some soccer games! We appreciate you being part of our YMCA soccer family.

It was so good to see some familiar faces and some new faces on the fields today! Some of these kids acted like last season never even ended! They were making great passes, showing awesome sportsmanship, cheering each other on, and most importantly… HAVING FUN! We’re so excited to see what this season brings!
