I want to share something honestly with the 7v7 Elite family this morning.
For years, I’ve believed deeply in what WE’VE been building—and these pictures are a small reminder of why.
This has never been simply about tournaments, brackets, trophies or championship belts. It’s been about creating a place where young athletes could compete, families could spend weekends together, coaches could pour into kids, and everyone could expect an experience where they felt supported.
Thousands of athletes and families have trusted us over the years. I don’t take that lightly, and I never will.
Right now, though, I need to be transparent about where we are.
As things stand today, the financial resources necessary to responsibly produce the 2027 7v7 Elite season are not in place.
That is NOT an announcement that 7v7 Elite is closing its doors.
But I won’t pretend everything is fine or make promises to teams that I’m not certain we can fulfill.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking and praying about what comes next. Before making any final decision, I believe the families, athletes, coaches, staff, partners and supporters who helped build this deserve to know where things stand.
If 7v7 Elite has meant something to you or your family, I’d genuinely love to hear about it.
And if you’re a business owner, potential sponsor, strategic partner or someone who sees the opportunity in what we’ve built and wants to have a serious conversation about helping make the 2027 season possible, my door is open.
If circumstances change and we’re able to move forward, we’ll be ALL IN. We’ll do the work, honor our commitments and give these athletes and families the experience they deserve.
For now, I’m not saying goodbye.
I’m simply telling our family where we are.
Thank you for believing in us, competing with us, working alongside us and, most importantly, trusting us with your kids.
Whatever comes next, that has mattered to me more than you know.
