Congratulations to Metairie Country Club Director of Golf, Nic Ishee, PGA for being crowned the 2026 GSPGA Match Play Champion. Ishee defeated Hattiesburg Country Club Director of Golf, Kyle Ramey, PGA 1 up in the final match to secure the 🏆.

Nicholas Arcement of Country Club of Louisiana is your 2026 Gulf States PGA Assistant Professional Champion. Winning in a thrilling 2-hole playoff against Ryan Fulton of Canebrake Country Club.

With the victory, Arcement qualifies for the 2026 National Assistant PGA Professional Championship which will take place on November 11-12 at PGA Golf Club in Port St Lucie, Florida. Joseph Dendy, Jared Smith, and Brayden Seguin also qualified as alternates for the event.

Shell Landing GC was a terrific host site for this championship, and we must thank Kenny Hughes, PGA, Benj Bostic, and Wes Leamon for their hospitality. Also a big thank you to Nate Kitson, PGA for another great year of the Assistant Championship Raffle and Summit.
