Country Club of Jackson Director of Instruction; Jacob Ross, PGA is the 2026 Ladd’s/Club Car Mississippi Chapter Champion. Ross fired off the low round of the day, shooting a 68 (-4) to chase down the leaders and finish at -5. One clear of Round 1 leader Joseph Dendy. 🔥

Head Professional at Clarksdale Country Club; Quincy Morrison, PGA secured the senior division 🏆 finishing at +3 over the two rounds at Hattiesburg Country Club.

Hattiesburg Country Club created plenty of drama and intrigue over the past 2 days. Superintendent Frank Olgetree had the course playing in terrific condition after mass amounts of rain fall in the area. A huge thank you to him and his team.

As our summer schedule is set to heat up, the Gulf States PGA would like to welcome Nate Thompson and Sean Hoffman as our 2026 Summer Interns. Nate is from Thibodaux, LA and is currently studying Sports Administration at LSU and Sean is from Gonzales, LA and is currently at Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) studying Sports Communication.
