-FACTS-
Rock Steady Boxing is the only exercise-based program clinically shown to slow — and in some cases significantly reduce — the progression of Parkinson’s disease.
We have evidence-based research, documented outcomes, and consistent participant improvements that support its effectiveness.
Even current medical treatments and medications cannot deliver the same functional gains in strength, balance, mobility, and overall quality of life that this program provides.
How Rock Steady Boxing Helps People with Parkinson’s
• Slows the progression of symptoms:
High-intensity, targeted training has been shown to provide neuro-protective benefits, helping slow the progression of Parkinson’s and preserve independence.
• Improves mobility and motor skills:
Participants see noticeable improvements in gait, balance, agility, posture, and overall body control—all while reducing stiffness, tremors, and daily discomfort.
• Builds strength, flexibility, and speed:
Every workout is designed to develop total-body strength, increase flexibility, and sharpen reaction time, giving fighters more power and confidence in their movement.
• Boosts confidence and self-management:
Members often report feeling more capable, more in control of their symptoms, and more optimistic about their future.
• Reduces the fear and risk of falling:
Better balance, coordination, and stability mean fewer falls, fewer injuries, and more freedom in everyday life.
• Enhances overall quality of life:
The program strengthens the body, sharpens the mind, and improves the ability to perform daily activities—leading to a more active, engaged, and fulfilling life.
Important Considerations
• Non-contact training:
Classes are completely non-contact. Participants train with heavy bags, speed bags, mitts, and conditioning drills—not by hitting each other.
• A powerful community of support:
Rock Steady Boxing is more than a workout. It’s a community that empowers, encourages, and connects people who are fighting the same fight—together.
