The adventure of Source Journeys began in 2001, through conversations with like-minded friends and a shared vision of extraordinary travel experiences for the mind, body and SPIRIT! Over the past 20 years, our journeys have led us to wonderful destinations and to life-altering experiences and memories. We have sailed on tall ships to enchanting islands, danced on the waves in South Africa, explored the mysteries of Machu Picchu, and watched the sun set over the pyramids from camelback. Whether rejuvenating with onboard yoga, hiking on the slopes of a volcano, dancing under the moonlight, or visiting the world’s wonders, at Source Events, it’s your choice. This is an invitation to dream, to become a part of the family and share in the extraordinary intimacy that defines Source Events. We’re so excited to begin sharing our 2028 journeys, starting deep in the Peruvian Amazon!

Spirit of the Amazon takes us from Lima to Iquitos and into the waterways of the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, where we’ll spend seven nights aboard the intimate Pure Amazon, privately chartered for Source. Our days will be spent exploring by skiff, kayak, and on foot, watching for pink river dolphins, monkeys, macaws, and the incredible wildlife that calls this part of the world home.

Africa had been on Neil Ramirez’s mind long before he ever arrived. After years of hearing Craig’s stories, he finally experienced it for himself, and it more than lived up to what he had imagined. Days on safari brought elephants, lions, and the anticipation of never knowing what might appear next, while evenings were spent with friends, sharing stories and taking in everything they had just experienced.

By the time Neil reached Victoria Falls, the adventure wasn’t over. He went bungee jumping and took his first microlight flight, adding a few more unforgettable moments to a journey already full of them. His philosophy on travel, and life, is simple: “It’s only one life, and it’s short. Enjoy yourself.”

There are few places in the world where you can get this close to the natural world.

In the Galápagos, you might start the morning snorkeling alongside curious sea lions, kayak past sea turtles in the afternoon, and step ashore to find blue-footed bo***es and marine iguanas seemingly unfazed by your presence. The landscapes change just as quickly, from volcanic craters and rugged coastlines to impossibly blue water, with a new adventure waiting every time you leave the yacht.

And then you come back aboard. You share dinner, trade stories about everything you saw that day, and, on at least one night, apparently become pirates.

It’s this combination that makes the Galápagos one of our favorite journeys to return to: extraordinary wildlife and landscapes, days filled with discovery, and a group of fellow LGBTQ+ travelers experiencing all of it together.

There’s always a lot packed into a day when we travel together. An early start for something worth waking up for, a long lunch that turns into an even longer conversation, and somehow, plenty of energy left for a drink and a little dancing at the end of the night.

Some of us are first ones up in the morning. Others are first on the dance floor. Most of us have been both at some point.

That’s part of the fun of traveling with the Source family. Everyone brings their own energy to the journey, and there’s always someone ready to join you for whatever comes next.

Here’s to seeing more of the world together.

There’s something wonderful about arriving somewhere new and knowing you can simply enjoy being there. Let us take care of the planning, the reservations, the logistics, and all the little details that come with exploring somewhere new, so your attention can stay exactly where it should be: on the place you came all this way to experience.

And there’s always room for a little surprise along the way. An unexpected stop, a local place you might never have found on your own, or one of those moments that ends up becoming a favorite memory from the trip.
We believe the best journeys have a lot of thought behind them, without ever feeling that way.

The Nile has carried people through Egypt for thousands of years, and there’s still something remarkable about experiencing the country from the river.

Days bring you face to face with places you’ve known by name for a lifetime: Karnak, Luxor, the Valley of the Kings. Our Egyptologists fill in the stories behind what you’re seeing, and then you return to the ship, settle in on deck, and watch the landscape drift by. Villages along the riverbank, palms against the desert, small boats crossing the water, and the evening light changing everything around you.

A Nile cruise gives you time to experience both sides of Egypt: its extraordinary ancient history and the life unfolding along the river today. And when you experience it aboard a private charter, surrounded by fellow LGBTQ+ travelers, those days become something you get to discover, talk about, and remember together.

Safari mornings begin early, often before the sun has fully risen. By the time you settle into the shade of a big tree, you already have a morning’s worth of stories to share.

Over coffee and breakfast, everyone retraces the drive: the animals you spotted, the moments that caught you by surprise, and the ones you hope you’ll see again. All the while, the sounds of the wild continue around you.
It is a quieter part of the safari experience, but often one of the most memorable.
