The Man Cave

I have a 2017 car with 110,000 miles on it. I got hit this weekend and the driver took off. My car won’t drive because the tie rod broke. Trying to figure out if insurance will total it or not. I literally just paid it off too.
Has anyone dealt with something similar?

What did I find? +- 1750-1800's field. Went out detecting in The Netherlands yesterday, had a fruitful day. Some coins, some buttons, and two objects that I can't really identify. This item came from a field dated around 1750–1800, though it could be older or more modern. The area has a history going back centuries. The second item is some kind of tiny spoon, maybe a toy? Made of pewter, I believe. Anyone want to share some thoughts?

Insurance claiming this is a 4000$ repair, reasonable or nah? Someone backed into my parked car, left their details and I was declared not-at-fault. I went to a garage my insurer recommended to get an estimate and they came back with a quite for 4070$ including roughly 25 hours of work and 1700$ in parts. The insurance wants to write it off as they estimate my car value to be 3700$ (Mazda 3 2008 automatic 180k kms in Canada)

The estimate seems super high for something that is mostly cosmetic (the inspection deemed it safe to drive) I'm thinking of getting a second opinion, am I delusional?

Found this on a walk, but what is it? My family and I were walking outside, picking up trash, and one of my kids brought me this. The shape is suspect, but it would be very unusual around here. Rather than fiddle with it on the off chance that it is something dangerous, I figured I would ask here.

$500 too much for this? Water damage repair. Ended up being a 2x4ft area by the time I cut back to good drywall, plus about a ft down the two walls.
