✨ CDC ALUMNI NEWS! ✨

Today, we’re catching up with Gracie! 💜🩰

A recent graduate of Chesterfield Dance Center, Gracie is now a freshman at Shenandoah University, and she is keeping very busy dancing her way through college!

Her schedule is packed with ballet three times a week, modern three times a week, entertainment industry styles twice a week, contact improvisation twice a week, and dance production! She is also rehearsing for two senior pieces that she’ll be performing in the November Senior Concert. For the fall concert, freshmen work backstage, so she’s looking forward to experiencing that side of the production as well.

And that’s not all! Gracie has also joined the university’s tap troupe, The Loose Screws! 👞🎶

We love seeing Gracie continue to grow as a dancer, explore new opportunities, and pursue her passion for dance at the next level. We are so proud of you, Gracie, and can’t wait to see where your journey takes you!

💜 Keep on dancing, Gracie! 💜

Emily is a freshman at Longwood and decided to take a chance by auditioning for the Longwood Dance Team—and she MADE IT! 🎉

She’s looking forward to performing this season at both the men’s and women’s basketball games, all while balancing her college studies and everything that comes with being a freshman.

We are so proud of you, Emily! We love watching our dancers take the confidence, discipline, artistry, and passion they developed at CDC and carry it with them into their next chapter. ❤️

We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish at Longwood! Keep dancing, Emily! ✨

✨ ALUMNI NEWS TODAY! ✨

Today we’re shining the spotlight on our very own Lillian! 💜

Lillian is now a sophomore at James Madison University and continues to grow and thrive as both a dancer and choreographer. This semester, she was selected to participate in a residency with Nicole Von Arx and will perform in the main stage production DanceScapes this November!

Lillian will also be choreographing this semester, as well as participating in the Fall Student Dance Concert, where she’ll have the opportunity to work with new dancers and explore new choreography. This is all in addition to her academic studies.

We are absolutely thrilled to see all that Lillian is accomplishing and cannot wait to see where her passion, creativity, and talent take her next! 💜

Keep dancing, Lillian! We are so proud to call you one of our CDC alumni! ✨

✨ ALUMNI NEWS TODAY! ✨

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Liv, a CDC alumna and current junior at Point Park University! 💜

Liv is continuing to grow as a dancer while studying ballet, modern, jazz, breaking, tap, heels, and hip-hop. She is also currently a board member of Impulse, Point Park’s hip-hop club!

This December, Liv will be performing in both a contemporary piece and a heels piece, while also choreographing her own hip-hop piece! And she’s doing all of this while pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration. Talk about doing it all! 👏✨

Her dream is to one day become a commercial dancer in Los Angeles, and we can’t wait to see where her talent, creativity, and determination take her!

💜 Fun fact: Liv has also choreographed a jazz piece AND a solo for our upcoming competition season here at CDC! We are so excited to have her creativity back in the studio and can’t wait to see her pieces come to life on stage.

Keep dancing, creating, and chasing those dreams, Liv! We are so proud of you! 💫
