Speed isn’t built only by running.

Jumping, hopping, and bouncing train the body’s ability to produce force quickly and efficiently. These plyometric movements improve stiffness, elasticity, and ground contact times—key ingredients for acceleration, top-end speed, and change of direction.

The better an athlete can absorb and redirect force, the faster and more explosive they become.

Back to the bounce ⚡️

After a planned deload coming out of our last competition phase, we reintroduced plyometrics today—focused, controlled, and building that elastic power back the right way.

Progress isn’t just go-go-go… it’s knowing when to pull back so you can spring forward stronger.

Finished the session with some reactive change-of-direction work using —and turned it into a little friendly competition to close it out 👀🔥
