November's trivia theme is all-sports tailgate! 🍔🏈🌭

Join us Thursday, November 12 for Thursday Night Trivia at the Mad Russian Event Center from 7-9 pm! Grab your friends and come show us what you've got. Teams can have up to six players and the event is open to ages 21+. There is no admission fee, but registration is required prior to attending at https://bit.ly/trprtrivianight 🧠

Doors open at 6:30 pm, so arrive early to grab a drink, claim your spot, and get ready for a fun night of friendly competition! 💥

Thank you Johnstown-Milliken Community Foundation for your support of TRPR!! 😊

Tonight the Johnstown-Milliken Community Foundation awarded Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation District $1,000 towards scholarships for sports and activities. These funds come from our Mom Prom event which is already scheduled for the last Friday of February 2027 so mark your calendars so we can continue this support!

Thank you TRPR for all the ways you’ve already supported the foundation! We appreciate you and what you do in our community!

Start planning those PJ fits because putt putt night is calling! 😴⛳️

Grab your whole family and join us at the Mad Russian Event Center for a night of indoor putt-putt, friendly competition, and plenty of fun from 4-6 pm! We’re setting up a 9-hole indoor putt-putt course with tournament-style play, a sh***un start, and fun challenges and surprise rules throughout the course. Compete against your family and friends, see who can claim the top spot, and enjoy free snacks, a dirty soda bar, giveaways, and more along the way! Doors will open at 3:30 pm.🥤🏆

Basketball registration is OPEN for 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th Grade Boys! 🏀🔥

Practices begin the week of January 4, and games will run January 16 through February 20. This season, 3rd/4th and 5/6th Grade is partnering with Berthoud and 7th/8th Grade Boys will be partnered with Berthoud, Carbon Valley, and Mead for even more exciting matchups and opportunities for players to grow their skills on the court!!

And we have super exciting news! This season, we're teaming up with the Junior Nuggets! Every participant will receive an official Junior Nuggets jersey included with registration! 💥

Youngsters on the Move is getting a Halloween twist! 👻

Join us for a special Halloween morning this Thursday on October 29 from 9-11 am at the Milliken Athletic Complex! Kids ages 0–5 can enjoy all the usual Youngsters on the Move fun, including playtime, coffee for the grown-ups and snacks for the little ones, PLUS a special Trick-or-Treat around the building at TRPR staff offices! 🍬

Come dressed in your Halloween costume and get ready for a morning of play, treats and spooky fun! We can’t wait to see all our little ghosts, goblins, princesses, and superheroes! 🎃

Every Yoga or Zumba class you attend throughout November earns you an entry into our giveaway drawing, and drop-in members receive DOUBLE entries for every class they attend! The more classes you take, the more chances you have to WIN! 🎉

We’re less than two weeks away from TRPR’s FIRST Día de los Mu***os community celebration on Sunday, November 1 from 1-4 pm at the Milliken Athletic Complex! Bring the whole family for an afternoon filled with meaningful traditions, music, dancing (Baile Folcklorico), entertainment, face painting, crafts, candle lighting, delicious treats, hot chocolate, horchata, conchas and more!

Come celebrate the lives and memories of loved ones while enjoying a fun afternoon together as a community. This is a new TRPR tradition you won’t want to miss! 💃
