Leveling classes is meant to give you more predictability with your practice but it can also help you learn at your pace. We want to give you more freedom to choose how you will meet your practice each time you walk into the studio.

Throughout your journey, you will spiral through the different levels, meaning you’ll come back to level 1 when you want to come back to your foundations. You might jump to level 3 when you want to challenge those refreshed foundations. And so on…

We are excited to bring this to the studio to help you organize your practice and help you move within the rhythms of your life ❤️

A little more about our new Pilates class levels ✨

As our BLP community continues to grow, we’re introducing levels to help you better understand the work we’re exploring in each class and how it all fits together.

But here’s what we really want you to know: The levels are here to support your practice, not define it.

Levels 1–3 are open for you to explore. You don’t have to graduate from one to the next, and choosing a higher level isn’t a measure of how good you are at Pilates. Every level offers something valuable, and your practice can look different from day to day.

Level 4 is our advanced classical practice, with access through a readiness assessment.

Our goal isn’t to get you to the highest level possible. It’s to help you understand your body, discover how you move, and build strength, confidence, and freedom in your practice.

Not sure where to start? Ask your teacher. We’re always happy to help you find the class that supports you.

See you in the studio! 🤍

Your Embodied Anatomy Academy schedule is here!

Six months of intentional movement, anatomical exploration, and deeper understanding of your body.

Monthly workshops
First Saturday of the month | 11 AM–1 PM

Weekly refinement classes
Wednesdays | 5:30 PM

October 2026 – March 2027

Swipe to explore each month’s focus and schedule.

Build from the ground up.

Explore the pelvis as the foundation of movement, focusing on its structure, mobility, and relationship with the rest of the body. Through Franklin Method imagery and movement, we’ll discover new ways to create support, ease, and freedom.

Create space and support.

Explore the spine as a dynamic structure, focusing on movement, alignment, and the spine-pelvis relationship. We’ll use Franklin Method imagery to enhance freedom and support in your movement.

Bring it all together with TWO BONUS CLASSES

Deepen your understanding of the pelvis and spine through concepts, imagery, and movement practices. Refine what you’ve learned, ask questions, and explore how these elements work together as part of a larger system.

Find freedom in your shoulders.

Explore the shoulder girdle and its relationship with the spine, rib cage, and arms. Discover how understanding this connection can support greater mobility, ease, and efficiency in your movement.

NOTE: January’s workshop falls on the SECOND Saturday of the month for the holiday.

Discover the possibilities in your knees.

Explore the structure and function of the knees, and how they work in relationship with the hips, ankles, and feet. Through imagery and movement, we’ll discover new ways to support mobility, stability, and ease.

Connect with your foundation.

Explore the structure and movement of the feet, and their relationship with the rest of the body. Discover how greater awareness of your foundation can support balance, stability, and freedom throughout your movement.

We’re not treating anatomy as a collection of disconnected topics.

Everything builds.

That’s why Embodied Anatomy Academy is a six-month experience.

We’ll begin by creating a map of the body, then gradually explore relationships and connections, revisit what we’ve learned, and apply those concepts through movement.

You’ll have:

• 5 Saturday workshops
• Weekly Wednesday Academy classes at 5:30 PM
• 2 complimentary December refinement classes
• Franklin Method concepts + imagery
• Six months of progressive exploration

The goal isn’t to learn something once and move on.

It’s to return to the ideas, experience them in different ways, and build on your understanding over time.

That’s what makes this an Academy rather than simply a series of workshops.

BLP members, you’ve got first dibs.

Embodied Anatomy Academy is officially open for member enrollment.

This six-month experience is designed to help you understand your body in a deeper, more meaningful way through anatomy, imagery, movement, and Pilates.

And because you’re already part of the BLP community, you get to enroll before we open the doors to everyone else.

Member enrollment is open now.
Public enrollment begins September 12.

With only 15 spots available for the entire Academy, that early access matters.

If you’ve been curious about understanding why your body moves the way it does—not just what movement you’re doing—this is your opportunity to go deeper.

And yes, there are some special pricing benefits for members, too. 👀

What if anatomy wasn’t something you had to memorize?

What if you could feel it?

Instead of simply learning that your pelvis and spine are connected, imagine exploring that relationship through movement and beginning to notice what changes when you move differently.

That’s the idea behind Embodied Anatomy Academy.

We’ll use anatomy, Franklin Method imagery, movement, and Pilates to help turn information into something you can actually experience in your own body.

Because the goal isn’t to know more anatomy terms.

It’s to understand your body differently.

Embodied Anatomy Academy begins October 3.

And you don’t need a Pilates background to join us.

15 spots. Six months. One connected journey.

Something new is coming to Body Language Pilates.

Embodied Anatomy Academy is a six-month journey into anatomy, imagery, and movement designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of your body.

This isn’t about memorizing the names of bones and muscles.

It’s about learning to experience your anatomy through movement—and understanding how that knowledge can influence the way you move through Pilates and everyday life.

Over six months, we’ll map the body, refine our understanding, and apply what we’re learning through movement.

And you don’t need to have done Pilates before.

You just need curiosity about your body and a willingness to explore.

The first Academy cohort begins October 3 and is limited to 15 participants.

Enrollment is open now.

We learned something we couldn’t keep to ourselves.

Over the past year, Sami and Ashley have been diving deeper into the Franklin Method—exploring anatomy, imagery, movement, and the ways we can better understand our bodies from the inside out.

And now, we want to share what we’ve learned with you.

That’s the heart behind Embodied Anatomy Academy.

This isn’t about memorizing anatomy terms or becoming an expert overnight.

It’s about learning to feel your body differently.

To understand how your pieces connect.

To find more ease in your movement.

To become more aware of what your body is doing—and why.

To move better and drop in.

We created the Academy because we believe this work can change the way you experience movement, Pilates, and even your everyday life.

And you don’t need to have done Pilates before to join us.

You just need to be curious about your body and willing to explore.

Embodied Anatomy Academy is a six-month journey beginning October 3, with only 15 spots available.

We’re so excited to share this work with you.

Come learn, explore, and move with us.
