Join us in summoning the Sorceress, our new trail-born steel shapeshifter. This hardtail combines the alchemy of 4130 chromoly steel with divine geometry numbers whispered to us on a mountaintop. Sorceress is also infused with the magic of our new (patent pending) DUH dropout, granting you the power to run geared drivetrains, SRAM Full-Mount drivetrains, or single-speed setups.
The result is a spirited hardtail poltergeist that conjures a playful and confident ride even through steep and gnarly realms.
Curious? Unveil more lore, and see all three spec and color options here:

Weâve said it before, but weâll say it again: on the road to steel euphoria, Preamble is the gateway drug. And this ballinâ on a budget slice of steel is hard to resist, even for seasoned Surly enthusiasts. A good dealâs a good deal.
Find yourself a freshly upgraded Preamble Flat Bar at your local bike shop â now in a Hi-Viz Black and Milky Lemonade with some Teravail Washburn gumwall 650b/700 tires.

Breaker breaker: the updated Disc Trucker just pulled in.
This road-hungry touring rig now comes fully loaded: its Shimano CUES 2 x 10 drivetrain gears down low enough to lug you and your load up the steepest mountain passes, and its hydraulic disc brakes keep you off the runaway truck ramp on the way back down.
Look, Disc Trucker wasnât the first steel touring bike. It (probably) wonât be the last. But we think itâs one of the best for its stability when loaded, humanoid-focused comfort, and, of course, the world-proof durability of steel.
Built for long miles, heavy cargo, and whatever the road throws at you, the legend rolls on in a âGrandpaâs Khakisâ color that helps hide the miles of road dust from your travels.

đđ¤Carbon-ated: Weâve got a fresh Midnight Special for you in Black Cherry Fizz and it does the unthinkable, combining our tried-and-true steel frame with a carbon fiber fork and rims for the first time ever.
Some of you might find that very un-Natch, but donât knock it âtil you ride it. Carbon fiberâs otherworldly properties grant Midnight Special an extra smooth ride in its natural habitat of twisty country roads and urban escape routes. This super-special Midnight Special is ready for whatever the asphalt (or lack of) throws your way.
Steel will always be real, but we like to keep you on your toes. Details at the link in our bio.

Our community is hurting: federal immigration officers have unlawfully detained, harassed, and even murdered our neighbors. We can't sit still while this is going on, so our team has been contributing to mutual aid, delivering groceries to neighbors, marching, and going on strike. That means this channel has been pretty quiet, but no more. We need your help.
Surly has donated to the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund to help front-line organizations care for and protect immigrant and refugee families. Want to take action with us? We thought so. Call your reps at (202) 224-3121 and tell them what you think. Then check our bio for more ways you can get involved.
And don't forget: our bikes ground us, connect us, and keep us moving together through dark times. This weekend we're supporting a Unity Ride for Alex Pretti with our pals on Saturday, January 31. Come ride with us, host a ride in your community, or simply ride in solidarity.
Ride, resist, and rise up.

Steel simplists, let it be known that the new Preamble drop bar comes with some subtle shine a la Shimano CUES 1x10 speed and a tangy Red Hot Cheddar color. Itâs still the same stripped-down gravel and utility worker you know. A fine canvas or starter ride into steel pastures.
Itâs everything you need (and nothing you donât), plus a little extra.
