As we reflect on another great summer of youth camps, we want to give a huge shoutout to our youth camp staff! Rain or shine, heat or cold, they showed up each day full of positive energy and a zest for sharing their knowledge of sailing with campers.

Keeping kids safe and having fun out on the water is no small feat, but our staff did an incredible job! We're so proud of them and the future generations of sailors they're inspiring.

The sailing season isn't over yet! There's still time to hone your sailing skills and even learn to sail for the first time. Private lessons at MSC can help!

⛵Private lessons can be booked now until Thursday, September 30th.
⛵Offered daily noon to 5:00 PM, with limited availability after 5:00 PM.
⛵Lessons can be as short as 1 hour and up to 3 hours
⛵$70/hour (add $25/hour for each additional person). Bring a friend for a more economical option (max 4 people).

Our sailing friends up in Duluth need help getting the word out about to the Kai Cup Memorial Yacht Race and community celebrations on September 11th and 12th!

Looking for a fun way to support a great cause? This annual event honors the memory of Twin Ports community member Kai Hoenig while raising vital funds and awareness for LGBTQ+ youth. The event is raising funds for Trans Northland, a non-profit providing support, resources, and community to the transgender community in the Northland.

High school fall sailing begins next week on Tuesday, September 8th! Calling all youth in grades 6-12 to represent their school and join students from across the metro area to sail at MSC! Practices are Tuesday-Thursday, and regattas are on weekends. No experience necessary ⛵

It's hard to believe, but we wrapped up the last session of youth camp last Friday!

Session 10 was full of great sailing weather, making new friends, and of course a very spirited final Pirate Day! 🏴‍☠️☠️

Looking for something to do this Sunday? Tell your friends and family to come to Bde Maka Ska for Free Sailing Sunday at the Minneapolis Sailing Center!

⛵We'll be giving members of the public FREE 20-30 minute sailboat rides from 12:00-5:00pm.
⛵Rides are open to all ages of the public on a first come, first served basis.
⛵No sailing experience is needed, an experienced staff/volunteer sailor will be on the boat with you.
