Girls on Shred

A little recap from our Flathead Skatepark Tour! Saturday we helped break in the new Elmo park and give out free padding, helmets, skate shoes, and skateboards to new skaters from the area. Seeing so many people find their power at this park was a joy to be a part of.

Pablo, Sčilíp, and Arlee were next on the list proving why it’s so vital to have these spaces for skaters of all ages to enjoy. Skateboard parks help build confidence, resilience, friendships, and overall wellness. They’re especially important to have on reservations and rural communities that know all too well the struggle of su***de and drug abuse. We are honored to be able to help break down the financial barriers of entry to this life changing activity.

We are so thankful to Jeff Diction and all of our generous donors who made it possible for us to giveaway gear to those in need. We are always accepting new and lightly used gear to redistribute around Montana. DM to learn more about how you can get involved.

We are raising funds for the Marshall Mountain Rail Garden with an afternoon of music! Join us Saturday, August 29th and enjoy tunes from The Skurfs SERPENTINA GIRL FREAK ꧁༒☬ 𝖇𝖚𝖙𝖙𝖔𝖓 𝖕𝖚𝖘𝖍𝖊𝖗 ☬༒꧂ Marley Rozeboom and more!

BYO picnic and yard blanket. Mountain line shuttles run till 4pm. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

All proceeds will go to help cover operational costs for the rail garden so bring some extra dollars for the raffle and custom GOS merch. It takes a community to make these projects happen so let’s get together, dance, and raise money so we can provide a free ski and snowboard park at the legendary Marshall Mountain Park

Due to air quality we will be monitoring levels and determine if we can skate at our events in Dixon and Arlee. We will be showing up to give out gear but if levels remain in the red we won’t be able to promote exercise in extreme conditions.

The next generation of Missoula skaters are learning to find their power at MOBASH. This park is almost 20 years old, more than twice the age of some of these girls. We can’t wait to see how they progress in years to come.

Our annual Golden Triangle Tour was all time. Thanks to everyone who came out to skate with us in Big Sandy, Havre, and Chinook! We always look forward to ripping around and checking in on these far out skate communities.

Every year these skateboarders and roller skaters get more confident on and off their boards. It’s a real treat to see their progression and continued friendships on the crete.
