🧠 CONTINUING MY EDUCATION TO BE THE BEST COACH I CAN BE

Being a great coach means never stopping learning.

I’m constantly investing in my education, expanding my knowledge, and finding better ways to help athletes develop—not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and competitively.

Today’s athletes deserve coaches who are willing to grow right alongside them.

đź“š Learn. Apply. Evolve. Coach.
💙💛 Always working to become better for my athletes.

Because when I grow as a coach, my athletes have the opportunity to grow too.

👧🏼Pitchers: I hit my spot, but keep getting hit it hard.
👨🏻Parent: she doesn’t throw hard enough.
🧢Coach: umpires are terrible, we can’t buy a strike.

âť“These are just some of the stories I hear during lessons, games, clinics.

📖I’ve built this zoom course & workbook to help answer questions, create awareness and understanding.

💪🥎 BUILD STRONGER GRIP + FASTER SPIN! 🔥

Want to improve grip strength, forearm strength, and spin speed? This simple drill is a great addition to your training routine!

🛠️ WHAT YOU NEED:

• 2 ft PVC pipe
• 3–4 ft rope
• 2½ lb weight

Connect the rope to the PVC pipe and attach the 2½ lb weight to the other end.

🔄 THE DRILL:

Get into an athletic stance with your arms extended. Slowly roll the weight up and down using the PVC pipe, controlling the movement the entire time.

🎯 Focus on:
✔️ Strong grip
✔️ Wrist & forearm control
✔️ Consistent tension
✔️ Athletic posture
✔️ Controlled movement

đź“… TRAINING PLAN:

3–5 reps per session
3 days per week

Consistency is where the magic happens! đź’Ż

Stronger hands + stronger forearms + better control = more potential to create and maintain spin. 🥎💨

Don’t just throw harder. Train the tools that help you create better movement.

YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS. 💙💛

You’re going to fail.
You’re going to struggle.
You’re going to have days when nothing feels right.

And guess what?

THAT’S OKAY.

Failure isn’t proof that you can’t do it.
It’s proof that you’re learning, growing, and pushing yourself.

Your mindset matters.

🧠 Visualize yourself achieving it.
🗣️ Speak kindly to yourself.
🔥 Believe you are capable.
đź’Ş Keep showing up when it gets hard.

You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to keep moving forward.

Because when you develop a CAN-DO mindset, hard things become opportunities instead of obstacles.

You can do hard things.
You can fail and try again.
You can struggle and still succeed.

Believe it. Visualize it. Work for it.

You just watched me fail 6 times… I didn’t give up I made an adjustment and went for it! I’m so dang proud 💙💛

👇 NOW IT’S YOUR TURN:
What’s one hard thing you’re working through right now?

Drop it in the comments — and then finish this sentence:
“I can do hard things because ______.”

Tag a teammate, athlete, coach, or parent who needs this reminder today. 💙💛

YOU ARE NOT BEHIND IN YOUR DEVELOPMENT. 💙💛

Softball development is NOT a race.

Your teammate might throw harder.
Another player might hit farther.
Someone else might look more polished right now.

That does NOT mean you’re behind.

Development happens in seasons. 🌱

Sometimes you’re building strength.
Sometimes you’re fixing mechanics.
Sometimes you’re learning your body.
Sometimes you’re building confidence.
Sometimes the biggest growth is happening where nobody can see it.

Stop comparing your chapter to someone else’s.

Instead, ask yourself:

➡️ Am I better than I was yesterday?
➡️ Am I learning?
➡️ Am I putting in intentional work?
➡️ Am I building the foundation for where I want to go?

Progress isn’t always measured in MPH, exit velo, strikeouts, or stats.

Sometimes progress looks like better movement, better timing, better body control, better decisions, and a better mindset.

Trust the process.
Stay consistent.
Keep showing up.

You are not behind. You are becoming.

💙💛 Develop the athlete. Build the player. Command the game.
