Today we are recognizing one of our juniors, Jahzara Nelson! Jahzara is from Oak Hill, WV and is double majoring in Fashion Design and Animal & Nutritional Sciences. Before A&T she did gymnastics and ran track for 5 years. She joined WVU A&T this fall and is a great addition to our team. Aside from A&T, she is also involved with hosting vintage markets and sustainability seminars around campus. Her favorite thing about Morgantown is High Street at night!

Today we are recognizing one of our juniors, Rachel Andersen! Rachel is from Willow Spring, NC and is a part of the dental hygiene program here at WVU. Before A&T she did dance for 16 years and is currently pursuing a minor in dance! She has been a part of WVU A&T from the beginning and always shows up for the team whether it’s at practice, workouts, fundraising or other events! Aside from A&T, she is also involved with WVU Honors, Student Dance Association, Student American Dental Hygienist Association, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Her favorite thing about Morgantown is trying new places with friends!

Ruby truly does it all. She started our team from the ground up with nothing but a vision bigger than herself. Her leadership pushes us, and her constant belief and commitment in this team inspires us so much. WVU A&T exists because you had the ambition to start it and we’re all so grateful you did!
