See everyone at Father's Day Shoot Tomorrow!

Less than a week until FATHER'S DAY SHOOT - SUNDAY JUNE 28, 2026!

Non-members, family and friends all welcome
Registration starts after 9 am. Shooting starts at 10:00am.
We are generally done shooting by 4:00pm and then possibly an “Oakley” shoot-off.

Lunch starts approx. 1pm Lunch is $15 (4 member punches)
PLEASE BRING A DESSERT TO PASS

ONLY 7 ½ or smaller shot with a max of 1 1/8th oz - your shells will be checked
Shells are available for purchase if needed
No snap caps allowed on club grounds
Actions open at all times on club grounds
SAFETY IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBLITY

Format will be $7 per shooter(2 member punches); 2 rounds per station (10 shots total) - for a meat prize. Choose your game; sign up for your choice:

“High Gun” - shooter who breaks the most birds, regardless of color, wins

“Most Green" – most green birds broken (the trap is loaded with mixed orange and green birds.) Only the broken Green total is used to determine the winner. This gives a little advantage to the average shooter, because the number of green birds is unknown.

All ties resolved by shoot-off starting on station 5 @ 25 yards.

Someone will be selling “circle shoots” - There are 20 X on a sheet of paper. $20 buys a whole sheet and gets an automatic prize ticket, or 5 circles for $5. During lunch a club member will shoot the multiple target sheets, whoever selected a circle with a hole closest to their X wins. There is a winner per sheet.

Glenridge is open Wednesdays and Fridays after 5pm for open shooting.

Father's Day shoot is happening Sunday June 28th 10am to 4 pm at the Ridge!

Join us tomorrow for a Sunday open shoot starting at 12pm. Public welcome. If you plan to shoot, better to come at 12pm as the shoot duration depends on the number of shooters.

Weather looks nice - upper 60's and a some breeze to make it interesting.

Thanks to the members who worked to make this a nice shooting day. Great to see people outside enjoying the day. Future Sunday shooting days will be announced via Facebook when the dates are finalized.

Sunday May 17 is an open shoot day. The public is welcome. We will start around noon. This is dependent on the number of shooters. If you are planning to attend, the closer to 12pm the better. Mid 70s and light winds - should be a nice day.
